Folia helps you identify plants from photos and provides AI-generated care tips, health diagnosis, and answers to care-related questions. Plant identification is powered by a third-party service (PlantNet); care tips, health diagnosis, and Ask Anything answers are generated by a third-party AI model (Anthropic's Claude). See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is shared with these services.
Folia is not a substitute for professional advice. Plant identification, health diagnoses, and care answers are AI-generated estimates and may be incorrect or incomplete. Do not rely on Folia as the sole basis for decisions that could affect the health of your plants, yourself, or others.
Plant identification accuracy depends on photo quality, the plant's growth stage, and the underlying identification service, and is never guaranteed to be correct. Care tips, health diagnoses, and Ask Anything answers are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or advice that isn't appropriate for your specific plant or situation.
Folia Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription on the United States App Store for $1.99 per month. It unlocks Ask AI and photo health checks, and it removes ads. Plant identification and growing tips stay free. If you subscribe:
The App, its design, and its original content (excluding data from third-party services and user-submitted content) are owned by SunsetRock Studio LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law.
The App relies on third-party services (PlantNet, Cloudflare, Anthropic, Wikipedia, Google AdMob, and Amazon Associates) to function. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of these third-party services. Your use of them through the App is also subject to their own terms and policies.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SunsetRock Studio LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its AI-generated content, including the loss of, or damage to, any plant.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Folia Pro in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US $10.
Some states do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or limits on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
We may suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
